Liverpool re-signed Mohamed Salah to a brand-new contract that broke the club's wage structure, and the new deal will keep the Egyptian at Anfield until 2025.
Liverpool supporters were caught off guard by the announcement that Mohamed Salah has signed a new contract.
Liverpool have set a £60 million price tag on Mohamed Salah, fuelling speculation that the Egyptian could be sold this summer.
“I'm staying next season for sure," Salah said. “I don't focus on the contract at the moment. It's about the team. It's a really important week for us. I want to win the CL again."
Luis Diaz has looked like the real deal since arriving from FC Porto in January for an initial £37.5 million. With Mohamed Salah's contract situation up in the air and the contracts of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino coming to an end in 2023, Diaz gives Liverpool something to build on going forward.
