Salah has been absolutely brilliant this season and only Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema can lay claim to being on the same level as Salah. Yet, Salah plays in the Premier League amongst a far more gruelling schedule of matches and fixtures

Mohamed Salah Goals
Mohamed Salah has appeared in 22 matches for Liverpool in all competitions and has scored 21 goals. Seven of Salah’s goals as of December 16 came in six Championship League matches. He scored in all but one Champions League group stage games.
Fourteen goals have been scored by Salah in 16 matches ahead of matchday 17 against Newcastle United. He has failed to score in just five matches this term in the league. Salah has four multi-goal games in the Champions League and Premier League combined.
Mohamed Salah Assists
Salah has never been known for his goal creation, yet he has tallied 10 assists in two different Premier League seasons for Liverpool. He has nine assists in the league this term and the Egyptian could win the Golden Boot and top assist award.
This season, Salah has contributed to 30 of Liverpool’s 62 Premier League and Champions League goals when taking scoring and assists into the equation.
In the league and Europe, Salah has contributed to 48% of Liverpool’s scoring. He also leads the Premier League in goals scored (14) and assists (nine) ahead of matchday 17.

Salah’s goals per minute ratio is fantastic. In the Premier League, he scores a goal every 103 minutes, while in the Champions League, Salah scores a goal every 67 minutes. When combining the two competitions, Salah averages a goal every 91 minutes.
The Egyptian has scored 14 goals this term in the Premier League, which is well above his xG of 11.86. If you want to talk assists, Salah has nine league assists with an xA of 5.71. He also averages 4.06 shots per match in the Premier League. Salah has the highest xG in the Premier League.
