Thursday Tweets: Twitter reaction and build-up to Liverpool’s Premier League opener

Liverpool are gearing up for their Premier League season opener against Norwich City on Friday night. The Reds will host the reigning EFL Championship winners at Anfield to start the season.

Jurgen Klopp’s team is coming off of the Community Shield last weekend in which the Reds lost on penalties 5-4 to Manchester City. Despite the setback, Liverpool had plenty of positives to take away from the fixture.

Not only does the Premier League season kick-off tomorrow, but the transfer window shuts today. There has been a flurry of activity in the league, although Liverpool are not buying.
