The right-back is currently on the sidelines injured, but that hasn’t stopped the Reds from tying down another one of its core players.

According to TotalSportek, Alexander-Arnold’s original deal was to expire in 2021. However, his new contract will run until 2024. In addition, his £50,000-a-week salary will be increased.
The full-back’s new contract comes on the heels of former starting right-back Nathaniel Clyne being loaned to Bournemouth.
Alexander-Arnold, who turned 20-years old in October, came through Liverpool’s youth academy. Last season, with Clyne injured, Alexander-Arnold took his chances and solidified his place as Liverpool’s right-back.
In 17 Premier League games this season, Alexander-Arnold has tallied one goal and three assists. He has contributed to 11 clean sheets.
